Low-grade highway traffic safety has been a concern,traffic accidents accountedfor a larger proportion of the total accidents.The existing evaluation methods, such asroad safety and accident law run faster rate method there are many problems. Use ofvehicle dynamics simulation software can compensate for road safety evaluationmethod over a number of shortcomings,to improve road safety has important practicalsignificance and social benefits.The main object of this study to locate in low-grade roads, by means of computersimulation to get the car running simulation parameters in the simulation of the road,thereby filtering and traffic safety-related indicators, safety evaluation. The maincontents include: based on vehicle dynamics simulation software Carsim, set up abody, suspension, steering system, brake system parameters to establish the typicalvehicle simulation model. Based on the data highway alignment design, theestablishment of a road simulation model. Reasonably determine the driver’s steeringmodel, a simulation model of the driver. Screening of low-grade Highway TrafficSafety simulation evaluation to determine evaluation criteria,with specific engineeringpractice, carried out safety assessment, propose measures for improvement.The research results show that the research methods and evaluation presented inthis paper can be used for low-grade highway safety evaluation for low-gradehighway traffic safety improvement has practical value.
