Energy Conservation Research On Air Pressure System Of Asphalt Mixing Plant

Air pressure system is the main component of the drying and heating device ofasphalt mixing plant. The electricity costs of dust removal fan are the main energyconsumption of asphalt mixing plant. The performance of dust removal fan directlyaffects the drying performance and the power consumption. So the research of airpressure system has an important practical significance to reducing the energyconsumption and improving drying performance.In this paper, take an2000asphalt mixing plant for example, overview the dryingand heating process and the role of dust removal fan, provide theoretical basic for theselection and regulation of dust removal fan through calculating the air blast capacityand wind pressure of air pressure system. The barometric pressure has a greatinfluence on the fan total pressure and shaft power through analyzing the fan and themotor. Analyse the performance of motor and fan, determine the condition of fansystem can operate stably, ensure the efficient operation of the drag system. Thendetermine the operation condition of dust removal fan, contrast the air damperregulation and variable speed regulation, show the advantages of energy saving withvariable speed regulation, and the frequency control transformation of motor has theeconomic benefits when the ventilation door condition is under the80percent, andanalyse the influence of aggregate moisture content and exhaust smoke temperatureon the dust removal fan. The aggregate moisture content has the large influence on thedust removal fan. Then discuss the fan frequency control, ensure the stability of fandrive system after using frequency control, propose the automatic control of airpressure system which based on fuzzy adaptive PID control, improve the controlprecision of the air pressure system.
