In recent years, earthquakes happens frequently in the world, making great losses. Ourcountry is also faced with the grim situation, the earthquake occurred May12,2008, causinghuge casualties and economic losses, shocked the world. As the transit hub project inearthquake zone, bridge construction’s seismic performance has an great importance on theearthquake relief work. So it is received great attention. Therefore, engineers and scholars athome and abroad have been investigating the bridges’damage seriously,and put forwarddifferent ideas from different perspectives.In view of the base isolation technology is widely used in housing construction, and haveachieved good isolation effect. In this paper, via the numerical simulation of sliding baseisolation technology used in high-pier continuous rigid frame bridge,research and analysisshows that compared with non-sliding base isolated bridge isolated bridge can achieve goodisolation effect. Therefore sliding base isolation research on continuous rigid frame bridgeseismic performance has an important implications.In this paper, high-pier foundation slip three-span continuous rigid frame bridge as theresearch object, its seismic response and influencing factors were studied, including thefollowing:1. through literature, reviewed the development of seismic isolation technology,classification, advantages and disadvantages; theoretical derivation of the equations of motionof the rigid frame bridge with sliding base isolation, mechanical models, and the selection ofhysteresis curve slip layer according to the characteristics of sliding friction, the choice ofrigid-plastic restoring force model.2. numerical simulation, the simulation shows the principle of selection and seismic sliplayer, compared with the general basis of sliding isolated bridge bridge (consolidated basis)differences between the vibration characteristics, seismic response.3. on the basis of the seismic response of isolated bridge slip a parametric study, the useof a single variable method, the coefficient of friction of different seismic intensity,high-impact seismic response of the pier, the data show that the seismic base isolation bridges response of different sensitivity to different parameters, and exhibit different regularity.4. the existence of the risk for overturning laterally sliding base isolation bridges, thepaper deduced Criterion laterally against overturning, and the bridge site specific case givesthe idea of simplifying the calculation of lateral resistance to overturning. Finally, the lateralresistance to overturning the supporting infrastructure-a flexible anchorage.
