Due to the coal mine environment is special, so to improve the reliability of coal minepower supply system is to ensure the normal operation and safety of the important measuresof coal mine production. Application of mine flameproof feed switch to contain gas or coaldust explosions, dangerous environment, it is the key equipment in distribution system of coalmine underground, its performance directly affects the efficiency of coal production andsafety, it is necessary to research an advanced mine feeder switch controller.The mine explosion-proof intelligent feeding switch to design, the intelligentcharacteristics include failure protection function, running status and operation parameters,monitoring and self diagnosis function, communication networking and PC remotemonitoring function. Running state monitoring include confirmed of switch contact closure、break-brake, the action time of the switch, the temperature of the contact, the insulation of thecontact, etc; Operation parameters monitoring contains voltage, current, active power,reactive power, frequency of switch points, etc; Fault monitoring consists of short circuit,Lack of phase, over-voltage, under-voltage, over current, three-phase unbalance and phasesequence protection, etc; Integrating the functions of mine explosion-proof intelligent feederswitch can not only realize the protection of lower operation equipment, can also through thefield bus communication technology, the real-time collection of data sent to the centralcontrol computer, realize data sharing. Configuration monitoring and control system ofcentral control computer can realize surface protection of coal mine power supply system bycontrolling rules. Through surface protection can detect switch refusing action, preventtripping, reduce blackouts of large area, which makes the safety of coal mine power supplysystem to further improve and guarantee coal mine safety in production, and improveproduction efficiency.The results of experiment indicate that the designed mine new feeder switch performsexcellently in software and hardware, responses quickly, and operates accurately. Andthe prospective goal achieved successfully.
