Rational utilization of renewable energy and reduction of energy costs of constructionheating have attracted great attention when it comes to the field of building energy-saving inour country. In comparison with the traditional fins and air convective heating model, lowtemperature water radiant heating system has many advantages, such as well performance inenergy-saving, tiny fluctuations of indoor temperature, better feelings of comfort and lowcosts. At present days, water heaters of solar, heat pump and gas are the chief ways to obtainhot water for house use. Considering the energy-efficient performance and properties ofenvironmental protection of solar water heater, power-saving and high-efficiency of heatpump water heater, and time-saving in heating up and convenient use of gas water heater,optimized combinations of these heater would help to overcome shortcomings of hot watersupllies with a single heat source for the purpose of cutting expense and energy consumption.In this paper, a high efficiency and low cost heating model was put forward throughcomparing and analyzing the models of different combination heaters for the floor radiantheating system, and then the composite energy low temperature hot water radiant heatingsystem was established. Characteristics of heat supply for systems with various heat sourceswere determined by changing the operation parameters (e.g. flow&temperature) in differentconditions, with heaters of solar energy, heat pump and gas as heat source and floor withlaying pipes as radiation media. Based on the system parameters, various types ofcombination of different heaters were designed and being compared with each other on thebasis of average heating efficiency (AHE) and cost per hour (CPH). Economicevaluations for all those types were taken by considering energy efficiency, operability andheat supply in an instant during the heating process.The results suggested that, in a room with sizes of4.8m×4.15m×2.9m whose floorwas covered with pipes so as to form the radiant heating system produced by multi-sourcewater heater, the average heating efficiency (AHE) and cost per hour (CPH) were2.91, 3.01and¥1.22/h,¥1.42/h respectively while using two kinds of three water heatersall-combined types; solar energy water heater combined with the heat pump water heaterby three different methods had the highest AHE, which presented as4.91,5.92and6.70that were23.0%,70.5%and81.3%higher than that of a single heat pump water heater,and the CPHs were¥0.57/h; gas water heater combined with others in alternatingoperation was proved to be of costs and energy economized.
