Along with our country in recent10years overall acceleration of the construction ofurban rail transit system, more than20cities in the construction of the subway at the sametime, communication transmission system in the operation of the rail traffic control, safetyplay an important role. The subway use a large number of automation equipment forpassengers to provide security and stability of the service. Optical transmission network withhigh reliability, high bandwidth and low interference as the optimal selection of urban railtransit network. However, due to the subway line of line mileage and different nature, needthe size of the optical fiber communication network or network mode is also different, in thispaper, in line with both pay attention to the budget of the investment, development needs andadapt to the new technology principle, in accordance with the requirements of xi ’an subwayline2, focus on xi ’an metro line2is given and the scheme of optical transmission networkcommunication engineering.The main contents as follows: Main content is: through the analysis of key technology ofoptical transmission network, analyzes the transmission network of xi ’an subway line2business requirements, analysis, summary, demand for network line, combining with thecharacteristics of line of xi ’an subway line2and the budget of the investment to develop aspecific optical network construction scheme, the different transmission system has carried onthe comprehensive comparison, determine the network topology, completed the second line ofMSTP network design and implementation; The current MSTP (RPR) embedded devices arecompared, and research completed this topic of equipment type selection, and completed thistopic need network protection scheme and Ethernet structure design; Completed form anetwork after the system test, and to build network testing, evaluation, analysis; Summarizesand prospects the optical transmission network application in urban rail transit. Done in this paper based on MSTP in xi ’an subway line2optical transmission networknot only ensure the reliability of metro transmission network, guarantee the xi ’an subway line2operating control demand for communication, through the application of MSTP technologyin xi ’an subway line2transmission network practice, confirmed the MSTP technology can bewidely in the construction of urban rail transit communication transmission network,transmission network based on MSTP technology application in urban rail transitcommunication provides the research and implementation of a typical example.
