Study On The Growth Of University Campus

In the University for nearly a thousand years of history in the process of the development of campus physical space, always as the objective and existent. In the rapid development of higher education, including the history of the university campus, to explore its special growth law of planning, design and construction in the university campus space development, to better address the education development in the process of unpredictability, make the space construction of campus toward healthy development and orderly growth direction, become the theoretical and practical issues of academic and education circles and the university campus construction to resolve.In this paper, from a number of domestic and foreign university campus space form representative historical evolution analysis, taking Tsinghua University and Stanford University campus space evolution as a typical case, the spatial growth history, trends of evolution are analyzed in detail, the content of growth theory, philosophy, law, principle, mode, way and the connotation of the systematic analysis and research, the university campus space, draws the following conclusions:and presentation should be "axis of growth, growth, growth of unit modulus and comprehensive growth" as the main growth model design of university campus space growth,"the overall relocation, built second campus, in-situ growth" etc. as the main mode of growth,"harmony and unity, in association with dialogue, quality and temperament synchronization, homogeneity and heterogeneity coexist" as the basic principle.On this basis, I mainly on university campus space layout to be operational description, the research has theoretical and practical significance.
