Abstract:After more than a dozen years after the merger, expansion and development,China’s universities built a large number of new campus.Due to the complexity of the university campus construction and the adjustment of the national education policy in recent years, the construction of the new campus gradually shifted from the radical expansion to the internal needs of the school. The new buildings need to follow the campus development and comply with the existing order to make the construction of the new campus a organic growth process.Taking the Xianlin campus of Nanjing Forest Police College as an example. In the face of the objective requirements of the rapid expansion of the subject type and scientific research facilities, the campus environment is integrated through the organic growth of the campus morphology to create a continuous space structure and unique place context.Based on the above viewpoint, this thesis relies on the practice in the design of comprehensive experimental building in the Xianlin campus of Nanjing Forest Police Collage and mainly introduce the design ideas and practice process including the layout, functional compound, space organization and facade design based on the principles and strategies of intervening the campus environment and re-positioning in the organic growth of the campus morphology.Author tries to provide reference and help to the further development of the Xianlin campus of Nanjing Forest Police Collage.
