The visual effect of pipe truss structure that has been used gradually in the foyer,airport, gymnasium, exhibition center and other large buildings in recent years isconcise and fluent, and the modeling is rich. But it shows a number of mechanical andtechnical problems in construction. At present, the computer simulation technology isusually used to the analyze and optimize the construction process of thisstructure. According to the analysis results of the computer software, we can make theappropriate reinforcement or transformation, thus ensuring the construction quality inthe premise of economic security.Based on researches of the pipe truss structure, the key construction technology ofthe pipe truss roof engineering of Ji’an gymnasium was researched in this paper:(1)Through simulation for the lifting and turning process of the main truss, thispaper analyzed the characteristic of the stress changes of the steel truss in the lifting andturning process. The truss member stress which decreases with the truss be straighten upconstantly is larger in the initial state of the lifting (0o). After the truss is lifted off theground completely, the stress ratio of the truss member is generally small anddistributed evenly. The calculation results show that the lifting point was reasonable,and the lifting solutions are safe and reliable.(2)By using the nonlinear static analysis of the SAP2000, this paper simulated andanalyzed the installation process for the pipe truss roof structure. According tothe forming process of practical engineering, roof construction process are dividedinto26stages. The change rule of the internal stress and displacement of structure andmember are simulated during each construction stage. The internal stress do not exceedthe limits in the construction process, and find out weaknesses to be strengthened toensure the safety of structural system and the accuracy of subsequent installation. (3)The paper presents the basic principles and basic methods of tube truss structurefor unloading, and compares the principles and characteristics of the frequently usedfour methods of the numerical simulation for unloading process. Based on finiteelement software of SAP2000, this paper put forwards overall synchronous way of loadshedding through the application of the GAP unit to simulate uninstalling process ofJi’an gymnasium. The analysis results show that unloading process which only press butnot pull achieves a good effect by using the gap unit to simulate the temporary support.Meanwhile, the scheme can be easily applied to engineering practice.
