With the continuous development of network and information technology, informationhas become an important trend and direction of the development of engineering projectmanagement. The project management methods as the center, the use of modern networkinformation technology, design and development of project management information systemis able to improve the project management level of our country, in order to innovate therunning mode of the project management, to protect the quality of the project, and toimprove the comprehensive competitiveness.Combining with the project of industry and information technology in the application ofproject management information system, This paper analyzed the relevant research theory,according to investigating management circumstances and business demand of H Company,,from structural analysis system design and analysis of main functions of information systemof project management module, including: project summary module, the contractmanagement module, management module, control module, quality control module, safetycontrol module, equipment management module, financial management module, documentmanagement module, system management module. From the perspective of the wholestructure of the system, this paper analyzes each module interactions with the systemarchitecture. Then there are planning, step by step analysis system implementation process,including the implementation of the meaning, content and the preparation, implementationand evaluation of the implementation process, the implementation of the risk and so on.Finally, analysis of the project management information system implementation is likely toface the problem, and on the basis of analyzing the problems, and puts forward to thecorresponding suggestions.Overall, this study mainly includes the following aspects:First, based on the systematic analysis of engineering project management informationsystem and the problems of H company, from the perspectives of system functionalrequirements, system integration requirements, safety and stability of the system demandanalysis, and analyzed project management information system from the perspective ofsystem modeling.Second, based on a clear system of goal programming, this paper presented a detailed analysis of the function of each module and permissions, and finally from the perspective ofthe overall framework of the system module discuss the optimization and integration.Third, discusses the management information system of engineering project objectives,implementation of the content and implementation features, a detailed analysis of theevaluation of the implementation of project management information system implementation,implementation process and the effect of preparation.Fourth, analysis of the difficulties in the implementation of project managementinformation system, then puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions forimplementing the management information system of Engineering projects.
