The Comparative Study Of Recreational Characteristic On The Greenway And City Park Users

Greenway construction as an important means about the city environmental construction of China’s provinces and municipalities directly under the central government is paid attention by the academic circles and all levels of government leadership gradually. However, the current researches of greenway in the academic circles of our country were focused on the introduction of foreign experience and interpretation of the case. The other part is focused on the greenway construction standard, planning, technical indicators and so on, while the research such as the greenway’s user characteristics, behavior and recreation concepts is lack of. Because of many greenway in the planning stage does not have scientific investigate of user needs, resulting in some city greenway appeared deserted, low using rate or inconsistent with the use of law. In recent years, with the development of our national economy, the national idea and behavior are changing greatly, the outdoor recreation activities is also appearing larger change. Therefore, it’s necessary to carry out research on the user recreation behavior about greenway.It’s based on the literature review, using questionnaire survey, field observation and quantitative an alysis method, to carry on the comparative study of urban waterfront greenway in Beijing, Yuyuantan Pa rk and the Olympic Forestry Park. The research contents include3parts, respectively is study of the ove rall characteristics, the recreational concept and decision-making, the results reveal great differences of urban waterfront greenway, Yuyuantan Park and the Olympic Forestry Park above3aspects of research. According to the research results, provides constructive suggestion about the construction of Beijing’s gr eenway in the future.
