Natural landscape and objects, which are formed by the drift of natural force, are called ecological drift. It is unified, coordinated, natural and self-balanced, it condenses all of the image characteristics and laws of natural environment and natural beauty.Based on the theory of natural drift, the article starts with discussing the natural law of settlement of the people lived in the mountain. By analyzing and researching the phenomenon that traditional hillside buildings were built according to the natural drift, it derives the mathematical laws, and thus concludes the principle of planning layout for hillside buildings. With the above analysis and study, taking the project of the Jino hill international health tourism and holiday center in Xishuangbanna as a case, and based on the previous theories and practices, the paper further discusses the planning layout of Jino hill project under the special landscape condition by logical deduction, and plans the layout of the core area of the holiday center on the bases of the theory with ecological drift.Meanwhile, combine with the folk culture and features of vernacular dwelling of ethnic minorities, and according to the local geography and climate, the buildings of folk culture center is designed and given the quantitative analysis on the physical environment by computer simulation with the application of building technology to get a reasonable scheme.According to the planning requirements, with the goal of three-star green building, the project is required to creat a picturesque style of planning mode and become a green and energy-saving folk culture center. Besides, for those similar planning and building designs, the new ideas of design and practical experiences for green buildings of the project can be used for reference...
