The typical steel T-stub connection component is a node in the form of steel frame beams joined together by T-stub and high-strength bolts. This type of connection component has relatively simple structure, clear power transmission and superior seismic performance. This type of node has been widely used in buildings construct by multi-storey steel frame and set many examples, it has a shortage of strength and stiffness in the application of high-rise buildings and the research for its seismic performance is less in domestic and foreign. Therefore the mechanical properties of the enhanced node under cyclic loads need urgent research. This paper is based on the analysis of typical T-stub connection component and research the study of construct domestic and foreign, on the basis of the research which our group have done of six groups of typical T-stub connecting node week low cyclic loading tests, this paper design to improve the seismic node with five performance enhancement program structure:increasing T-stub web at rows of shear bolts, steel flanges and webs between T stiffening, T-stub flange and web widening, increasing double web angles, increasing T-stub flange and web thickness, and use the finite element numerical simulation to study the seismic performance of these enhanced T steel nodes. Through the typical T-stub connecting node model-BASE specimen ABAQUS software this paper calculate and compare the results of the test and simulation to verify the reliability of the finite element model. And use consistent finite element model to simulate the various enhanced node specimens cyclic loading process, with the BASE specimen as a base test piece, according to the plastic deformation of the specimen to carry out each node, contrast curve hysteresis and other seismic performance indicators analysis of the effect of the failure mechanism and enhance the five programs, and further study of composite T-stub flange and web-based enhancements widen way to draw some valuable conclusions on the T-shaped steel beams designed and constructed to connect the nodes Further study of the seismic performance has a certain reference value.
