| Boiler is a very important part of the production equipment thermal powern in cane sugar industry, performance advantages and disadvantages of its control system restricts the sugar-refinery production safety and energy consumption. Therefore, research and design a sugar-refinery boiler DCS control system, with improved functionality and reliable performance sugar-refinery boiler automation control systems, adapted to the production safety and needs cost reduction, with a value market and prospects of development studies.Background of the75t/h bagasse-coal-fired boiler at sugar-refinery in the paper, by analyzing the characteristics of such boilers differ from general industrial boilers, researching process and control tasks, determined monitoring points of structure system, and designed a control scheme of the boiler, which adapted to mix of two different calorific value fuel burned and major changes in the steam load, in accordance with the technical requirements and equipment operating environment, selected the specifications of control instrumentation and DCS’s number; based on the principle of selection DCS applications and the production requirements of enterprise, selected the HOLLIAS-MACS Series Distributed Control System, and analyzed the control system; detailed the configuration options of DCS system, including data acquisition, data communication, software programming, as well as the PC monitor screen, alarm and historical data query.In November2010, above-mentioned the DCS control systems of sugar-refinery boiler was put into use and run well, all important operating parameters of the boiler, the production targets to meet the design goal, performance and energy efficiency of boilers have been great improved. |
