The21st century is an era where the market economy is unprecedentedly prosperous, companies are locating in a highly competitive and efficient market environment. As an important pillar of the national economy, the subsistence and development of the manufacturing enterprises are facing with ever-increasing challenges. In a market economy environment, the most of commodities that people need can be obtained through market transaction, but nor the ability of the companies’ internal management. For manufacturing enterprises, production site serve as the beginning of producing and operating activities, the core sites of realizing the conversion of value and the creation, also reflecting the vitality and competitiveness. So the level of corporate site management will determine the acquisition of effectiveness, site management are the starting point and end point of the enterprises’ management, all activities of the corporations are inseparable from the production site.The content of site management is particularly rich. This paper will be mainly told from five main factors of production site, those are, people(operators and managers), machine(equipments), material(materials), method(processing method), environment (surroundings), synthetically utilize flow process analysis, man-machine analysis,4M1E method,6S management, fixed location and visual management and so on about IE theory, and conduct in-depth research and analysis of the status of production site in which W’s transmission assembly plant production, thus carry through systematically optimization studies. To achieve a better cooperation and utilization of the various production factors of workshop, establish normal production order and civilized production environment, enhance the competitiveness of enterprises, and improve the economic efficiency of them. The researching thinking and results in this paper will provide some guidance and inspiration for site management of some similar companies.This paper is divided into five parts:the first part is about the researching background, significance and the current situation of the site management; secondly, I arrange some related theory on the site management; thirdly, it includes the analysis and presentation upon the production site conditions of W’s transmission assembly plant; fourth part is about to take advantage of the theory of site management to solve problems in the production site and give some appropriate optimized recommendations and improved methods; then, I point out that enterprises must carry out some security work in order to make the optimized strategies and improved approaches to be successful; finally, it is the summary about the optimized content and researched achievement.
