Jialing River Centralized Drinking Water Source Protection Research On The Main City Of Nanchong

With the ongoing process of urbanization, the urban population is gradually increasing,the normal urban water security problem is getting worse. Meanwhile, the people’s livingstandard continuous to improve and the quality of drinking water requirements are alsoincreasing. Therefore, the protection of residential water is not just in the construction of thewater plant, water sources must be protected so as to ensure the quality of normal water forresidents, provide high quality drinking water for residents.Currently water pollution due to the deterioration of the environment, the traditionalwater purification technology can’t have access to safe drinking water; meanwhile, in eachlink of water transport and storage, there may be secondary pollution of drinking water.Therefore, we must attach importance to safety study on various water and other drinkingwater, strengthen the centralized water source environmental protection and protection ofdrinking water from the source.Nanchong City, the Jialing River Qingquan temple water as the existing water source,which belongs to rivers type, is the main living water source of Shunqing District, GaopingDistrict, Jialing district and Xichong county. With urban development, expansion of city size,four water intakes of the existing water sources were built in the city area, surrounded by thecity. Urban district Longmen Town, Xiaolong Town, Yingxi town and other places of livingand industrial wastewater outfall located in protected areas, where Yingxi town of domesticsewage and industrial wastewater outfall located in an existing water source protection areas,drinking water sources has not been effectively protected. Moving the existing water sourcesintake up outside city planning area, building Jiangxi and Jiangdong two intakes in Xiaohevillage, Banzeng town, the right bank of the Jialing river and Shipan village, Jianglin town,the left bank of the Jialing river, starting from the water sources, protect water quality of citywater supply in Nanchong.
