In the late 90 s of the last century,a large number of reinforced concrete arch bridge had be built in our country,and they are currently still occupied as of highway bridges in a large proportion.But some issue has occurred when these steel-concrete arch bridge experienced vehicles and environmental effects nearly two decades.A large part of them need to be carried out evaluation of load-bearing capacity.The existing methods of evaluation is not yet perfectly,and these methods are mainly through static or dynamic load testing and structural appearance observation.Using these methods has many limitations.In terms of bearing capacity of steel-concrete arch bridge,it is usually analyzed from an overall perspective,and the obtained results of the analysis is difficult to be quantified accurately,furthermore they can not forecast the load-bearing capacity of the steel-concrete arch bridge.The purpose of this paper is to reduce the cost of experiment in the process of evaluating the existing steel-concrete bridge load-bearing capacity by using a finite element model which optimized basing on a small amount of test data.First,the actual bridge structure Zhailihe Xibiao is checked regularly,including the material condition,the state parameter detection and the structure checking.And the load-bearing capacity is discussed.Secondly,the load-bearing capacity is inspected and evaluated by the load testing of the bridge.The verification coefficient is obtained through the response of the bridge under the test load,then it can determine whether the load-bearing capacity of the bridge structure meets the requirements.Based on the optimization theory,a new method is applied relying Jinan Shiliulihe West Bridge engineering background.The result of the load test is used and the numerical model,which can reflects the actual state of stress and strain,is obtained through the optimization theory.Finally,the load-bearing capacity of the existing steel-concrete arch bridge is evaluated by using the numerical optimized model.
