| Graphic statics is a theory of structure analysis and design, which is based on diagrams analysis to show the relationship between geometrical forms and the forces in structure.In this paper, the purpose is to establish a serial of diagram analysis through the research of the basic theories of analysis and design in graphic statics, then give help to architects in architecture design. The steps of this research is, firstly drawing the geometrical forms, the cremona diagram and funicular arch of various architecture structure, then giving the analysis of the relationship between these diagrams and the influencing factors to internal force in structure based on diagrams in fist step, finally giving enough case studies. So, architects could understand the way forces effect in structure and its mechanical meaning, then choose proper structure type and design fine geometrical forms, also good details in structure in architecture design.In this paper,"The diagram of relationship of different architecture structure based on graphic statics " could give help to understand the way forces effect in different structure and learn its inner meaning visually,"The method about how to make diagram analysis and the relevant achievements" and "Diagram analysis of main influencing factors of internal forces in structure" supply a direct tool in architecture design, which could give clear understanding of how do forces distribute in different structure thus determine the proper forms of the structure. By the understanding of a serial of these diagrams, designers could take structure as an important factor as other ones like space, material, tectonic and so on, then make proper design in geometrical forms and details in structure.In China, research of graphic statics has been started not long ago, so the diagrams drawn in this paper could also be a reference of summarize, which shows the basic theory of graphic statics, and give help to researchers in the future. |
