This paper is on the research of the methodology.The building is regarded as the carrier of science and art, butmany scholars have stressed the practicality of the building andneglected the theoretical research of the building. Their attitude havehindered the development of the design method to some extent. Thispaper is mainly to study the graphic design method by using thescientific guidance. Then we can build a bridge between design methodsand design results. And help the architects more understanding andlearning the graphic design method.Graphic design method is a design method that can be used tointegrate the design information, bear the design logic, generatearchitecture and form the non-traditional forms.Different from the previous comprehensive multi-faceted on graphicdesign method of research, this paper focuses on the study of graphicof the graphic design method, mainly through case studies to concludethe methods of the graphic design method.The paper mainly has three parts: the first part focuses on thedevelopment process of the graphic design method. The second part isthe focus of this paper, mainly by researching the typical cases ofthe typical graphic architects-Peter Eisenman, Rem Koolhaas, MVRDV,UNStudio and Greg Lynn-to summarize the graphic Design program.The third part is to further summarize the method of the generationof the original graphic, the transformation method of the originalgraphic and the method of how graphic converting to the building.The graphic design method is just one of millions of design methods.We believe each designer can find a suitable method to create more andbetter design works for human society.
