Different fromtypical cultural Relic Preserving, heritage parks are more prominent inhumanities, landscape and practicality and becoming important places for peopleto Search history, feel culture and consume culture and sightseeing. How tobalance economic growth and protection of the heritages is the issues of thewhole world.Daming Palace National Heritage Park is a witness of the development ofthe ancient capital of Xi’an as Xi’an city cultural heritage, city name and citylandmarks. The conservation, restoration, improvement and renewal of DamingPalace National Heritage Park are the core of researching Daming Palaceheritages. The paper expounds the approaches about how to restore and inheritDaming Palace culture through the landscapes from the history, culture,ecological harmony humanities, etc.Firstly, by combing the knowledge frame and analyzing related concepts,historic heritages, heritage parks, landscape design and humanistic care areclarified and divided in this paper.Secondly, on the inheritance and protection of Daming Palace heritage, Thispaper analyzed the significances, objects, principles and the methods of heritage,as well as the necessities, forms and contents of protection, and reached aconclusion by analyzing the design ideas and guiding methods of landscapedesign that local history and culture should be a consistent thread runningthrough the construction and development of City Park, through landscape modeand design details of Daming Palace heritage Park and on the basis of its Inheritance and protection, a view can be reached that Daming Palace NationalHeritage Park should be a fusion of ecological, historical culture, humanities, artand economy, in accordance to reflect its values on the premise of respectingnature and inheriting and protecting the heritage.Finally, this paper emphatically analyzed the general and special landscapedesign of Daming Palace National Heritage Park. The overall plan of DamingPalace is based on the principles of protection, identification and reversiblereduction, and follows the history pattern of "one axis, three areas". It used theline through the North-South as central axis line, the royal palace area, CentralDistrict and Backyard Garden District as “Three District”, and formed historicaland cultural space sequence, and the landscape architecture as well as historicalculture exhibition space. Special Landscape design embodied historical andcultural characteristics of Daming Palace from the aspects of traffic flow lineorganization, floor coverings, plant configuration, landscape sculpture, publicfacilities analysis and light application analysis, etc, and fused the humanities,landscape and practicability together. In addition, the Daming Palace heritagehas the function mode, cultural patterns, travel patterns with the peripheraleconomies, forming an integrated model of sustainable development. Bycombining of modern civilization, it showed the history and the modernheritages.But it is undeniable that the design of local archaeological sites andlandscapes isn’t perfect of current Daming Palace National Heritage Park.Compared with its integral space, the surrounding landscape is fewer and lack ofpublic viewing. Consequently, it is necessary for experts and scholars to continuestudying about Daming Palace heritage protection and landscape construction,thus to show the Daming Palace historical culture and city image, and play acontinuingpart in the development of the city history and culture.
