| In this paper, urban overturning stability of steel box girder is studied by staticstability and dynamic stability, and it is based on a small line near the subway station inNanjing Yuhua District, Nanjing City fast inner west line south extension project(latitude eight-Ring Road) four tenders, and when B17-B18anti-wall steel box girderwas constructed, the steel box girder is overturned. Through a series of simulations, theaccident is caused by three aspects:First,Stabilizing moment is too small, that is because of the light bridge weight,and for the purposes of Nanjing Yuhua bridge accident and Inner Mongolia BaotouSteel bridges have sufficient stiffness so there is no need to increase the amount to steel,which resulting in a waste of resources. Light weight is a major drawback in all steelbridge to against overturning stability.Second, the overturning moment is too heavy, that is mainly because of the heavyvehicle on the same stretch of road. With the rapid economic development in recentyears, the amount of large vehicles are growing, and most owners of these vehicleswants to gain greater profits by overloading. This leads to the load on the bridge greatlyexceeding the designers’ design.Third, bearing spacing is too small, and this results in a big stable capsizing leverarm, for this reason, Inner Mongolia Baotou National Road accidents especially viaduct,which is caused by the poor design.In overturning the anti-elevated steel box girder, the following ways are acceptedto prevent the accidents:1. The capacity of the bridge against overturning is increased from the architecture.2. To minimize the negative external factors of bridges. |
