| Under the background of sustainable modern economic development and increasingly soaring house price, people have higher and higher requirements on indoor space design. Every designer will face such a problem:how to reasonably organize and allocation various functional spaces in limited indoor space and fully consider people dream of big space. Therefore, under such a background, the concept of elastic space is introduced into the indoor design field of designers. Seen from the angle of sustainable development, elastic design facilitates the room to have the ability of adjustment, change, and development, which can dynamically adapt to constantly changing demand of the society and people. However, the main mode of creating elastic space is partitiom; Being a factor of indoor display, it can flexibly organize the indoor space. Especially in the elastic indoor space, the effective application of partition can not only increase the indoor utility to satisfy people’s requirements on diversified living space, but also present unique personality and taste of users. However, there are few discussions on partition research in elastic space. Moreover, some fields are even blank. Thus, a series of discussions are made on this aspect. From the aspect of elastic space, by the method of combining literature review with case analysis, the application organization and mode of partition in elastic space are carded, and basic types and corresponding usage methods are summarized. Firstly, a detailed discussion on basic concept, feature, and implementation mode of elastic space is made. Historical process of partition is analyzed. Furthermore, the position of partition in elastic space and space organization mode are discussed. Then, basic principles to be complied with for partition in indoor space design are summarized. Specific implementation modes and applications for4aspects of elastic space including changeable partition, elastic partition, soft partition, and virtual partition are proposed. In the end, based on the partition mode of the paper,2actual cases are analyzed profoundly. It is hoped that the paper will be with some reference for future indoor space design. |
