With the continuous development of economic construction and scientifictechnology in China, road heavy-cargo transportation as a fast-growing industry becamea key link in the support of major national projects.Because large equipment has its particularity such as overweight and large size, itis easy to be restricted by actual road conditions and traffic management departments.Therefore, lots of transport work is not smooth.This thesis is a study rely on the large transport process’s pre-survey and estimationof Xi-Shui and Er-Lang power plant generator, and gives structural stability research onthree stone arch culverts in Xishui to Caolianba road section which under the conditionof heavy-cargo transportation. What’s more, through application program to evaluatethe safety of stone arch culverts’ structural stability. At last, use the finite elementanalysis to determine the accuracy and reliability of the checking methods.Firstly, by reading and learning extensive domestic and foreign relevant materialsto understand the current situation of the development of heavy-cargo transportation,heavy-cargo transportation characteristics and differences between the transportationloads and ordinary loads.Secondly, targeted analysis made for heavy load transportation vehicles, andcombined with the basic structural features of the stone arch culvert, force analysis andcalculation method to theoretical check and analysis the structural stability of the stonearch culvert under heavy-cargo transportation condition.Thirdly, on the basis of theoretical study, using Visual Basic to write an applicationprogram that check the structural stability of the stone arch culvert under heavy-cargotransportation condition. In this way, we can make safety evaluation for the structuralstability of the stone arch culvert under heavy-cargo transportation condition andprovide important reference basis for the evaluation system of transportation safety.Fourthly, according to the existing experience and calculation methods about thestructural stability of the stone arch culvert under heavy-cargo transportation condition,based on the project background, select a typical size of the stone arch culvert to checkthe structural stability by manual calculation and checking program,and compare twokinds of calculation results.Finally, through Midas software, model the stone arch and load the heavy cargo on this model. By computing the model of stress condition, judge the structural stability ofthe stone arch culvert under heavy-cargo transportation condition and determine theaccuracy and reliability of the above theoretical methods and the application program.
