Abstract/Summary:
With the increasing improvement of computer technology and algorithms, the pre-processing of model is crucial to numerical calculation. Therefore, whether or not a perfect and suitable model can be built is one that would affect the accuracy of numerical calculation directly. Due to the powerful capacity of CATIA’s3D modeling and its openness, it is selected as numerical analysis pre-processing software for hydraulic and hydro-power geological model, and the finite element physical modeling methods based on geological database management system is proposed. The data interface of CATIA and universal numerical calculation software is analysed and developed. The main results and conclusions are as follows:(1)The hydraulic and hydro-power engineering geological database management system is developed. Aimed at the complex features of the geological information, VB.NET language is selected in this paper. The network database based on SQL SERVER and local database based on Access are established. The database achieves the functions like geological information entry, information query, information storage, statistical analysis, results export, etc. At the same time, database provides data storing, data calling and data transferring for subsequent geological modeling and finite element interface.(2)The finite element physical modeling methods based on geological database management system is proposed. This paper revises and improves the existing geological Mesh modeling methods, and proposes the finite element physical modeling technology based on geological database information system.(3)3D geological model of Jinping Hydropower Station is established.3D geological model of slope excavation engineering is built, which is located on Jinping First-cascade Hydropower Station Puluosigou dam area and Yinbazigou aggregate system Dabenliu trough field. It is based on CATIA V5R203D geological modeling platform. The stored geological information and2D pictures in database system are used. Meanwhile, the developed drills which are imported into the plug-ins of database and CATIA are also utilized.(4)The data interface of CATIA and finite element software is analysed and developed. This paper analyzes the characteristics of data interface between CATIA and universal finite element software and their connection method. It also programs the interface of CATIA-FLAC3D, and designs the program interface. Finally, data connection between CATIA and FLAC3D software is achieved. The practicability of the interface is verified by excavation analysis on JinPing model.(5)Based on the use of ABAQUS, this paper analyzes the slope stability of geological model in Jinping. Under the background of slope excavation engineering in Dabenliu trough field, the slope stability of geological model is analyzed with the strength reduction method in ABAQUS. And at the same time the result is compared with that calculated by simplified Bishop method. The feasibility of pre-processing when numerical calculating by CATIA and the validity of the finite element physical modeling methods based on database are verified.
