Steam turbine generator set is the key equipment in the electric power industry, andnow it is developed to higher parameter and larger capacity. Vibration is an importanttechnical indicators directly related to the turbine generator’s normal operation. Thevibration fault diagnosis of steam turbine generator units is based on therelevant dataand information on the fault qualitative. Then judge the cause and mechanism anddetermine solutions and implement treatment measures. This paper focuses on threetypes of turbo failures: rubbing, gas excitation and bearing loose. Then combinedcorresponding mechanism with processing mechanism, compiled the fault managementsystem, and simulation verification. The main achievements obtained in the thesis can bedrawn up as follows.(1) Rubbing mechanism and expound the rubbing mechanism of rubbing fault underdifferent rotational speed are analysized. Different vibration performance occurs whenrubbing under different rotational speed.Specifically analysize case in slight rub fault andserious rub fault. Get the reason of rub-impact fault,prevention and treatment measuresbased on the analysis of the reasons. Provide the reference for the prevention andtreatment unit of rub impact fault and useful reference for the way of avoid the happeningof the rubbing fault and fault processing.(2)The mechanism of steam flow excited vibration and obtained the generalmanifestation of steam flow excited vibrations are analyzed. Then this paper analyzed thereason of the failure and the failure preventive measures by the living fault example.Based on the former analysis, combine the literature and field knowledge; discuss theinfluence factors of fault and the failure characteristics and prevention, lays thefoundation for subsequent vibration fault handling.(3)Firstly, this paper analysize the bearing mechanism of loose and analyzes thecauses of the bearing looseness. According to Zhang Shan turbine generator bearingbushing looseness fault examples, further demonstrate bearing loose vibrationcharacteristics and the influence caused by the failure. Take measures after get the causeof the problem, the unit run normally after take measures. At last, this paper providesseveral installation requirements for the units.(4)A set of fault management system based on the basic knowledge was developedand its reliability of the system was verified by analog signal. This part provides aneffective solution for the automation of the management system.
