With the development of market economy, the power industry is developingrapidly. Combined with the thorough reformation of "separation of plant and network,bidding to the net ". The unprecedented fierce competition has appeared in the powerplants. How to maximum play the unit performance on the basis of production safety,achieve to energy conservation and emissions reduction, reduce power generation cost,improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned outage of unit, so as to improvemanagement level and market competitiveness of plants,which has become mostconcern of enterprise development.To solve this problem effectively, power plantsneed to adopt a set of real-time and meticulous production process managementsystem to improve the level of the safe and economic operation and promoteenterprise competitiveness.Supervisory Information System of Plant Level is initial proposed anddetermined the extension and the connotation of the system in1997by our expertaccording to the automation level of domestic thermal power plant. Through years ofdevelopment and improvement, especial the great development in recent years itsfunction and value have been widely accepted by the power generation enterprises.Thermal power plant more than300MW posses large and complex main equipmentand auxiliary equipment.SIS system receives the real-time data from bottom controlsystem of production field. Relevant datas can be extracted and selected according toindustrial algorithm on the basis of device model and running expert experience andanalysis of results can also be provided to managers by concise and visual interface,which achieves the application purpose of diagnosing equipment condition in advance,emiting warning timely,locking equipment falut,shortening corresponding time offault and providing guidance suggestions at any time. Those can guarantee the safetyand economy of unit by preventing the enlargement of equipment falut or decrease ofunit efficiency because of neglecting the relevance and representative of datas andresponsing abnormal data not timely.In this thesis, the concept, development process,effect and meaning of SIS system areanalyzed and discussed at first, and then the application background of SIS system isintroduced from the production practice of current enterprise, for example of WeiFang Plant. The function requirement of SIS system is investigated and analyzed indetail. Software and hardware structure and technical requirements of SIS system are analyzed and researched. Calculation model and method of SIS system are studiedcombined with the actual. Optimization process of load and calculation method ofload distribution in plant are researched and corresponding mathematical model areestablished. SIS system makes contribution to service improvement, benchmarkingmanagement, reliability control and strengthen fine management from technologylevel and provides decision support to harmonious production in whole plant for theeconomic goal control. The practice shows that informatization level and scientificmanagement level of power plant will be promoted and remarkable economic benefitalso will be brought by making full use of SIS system.
