In order to meet the users’ electricity needs and ensure the power grid’s safety and economicoperation, the grid’s operation modes in different situation need to be determined. The targetof researching and developing the dynamic power flow calculation software package used forelectrical islands is to show the grid’s situations after operating through simulationIn thesis, depending on the study of the function, principle and implementation requirementsto the dynamic power flow calculation method used for electrical islands, the frequency andunbalanced power flow calculation formula when the electrical islands combined is deduced.Based on the half cross linked list structure, the node admittance matrix’ dynamic storageprogramming is realized. Using the storage mode, the original node admittance matrix can bemodifyed to the new admittance matrix rapidly when the network structure changed. Thedynamic power flow calculation software can be used for electrical islands is debugged andperfected.Using the dynamic power flow calculation software used for electrical islands, the powersystem’s frequency and power flow can be computed during the situation that the networktopology structure changed, power flow fluctuated largely, system splitting or gridetc.Therefore, the dynamic power flow calculation software can simulate the operatingsituation of power system more reasonable, more accurate than the conventional power flowcalculation software, and providing more power system operation information to users, so ithas a wider range of applications.The dynamic power flow calculation simulating the system splitting and grid is carried out,using the IEEE-39power system and a real area power system as examples. The calculationresults verify the electrical islands dynamic power flow algorithm is reasonable and thesoftware is adaptive.
