Now, with the popularity of automobile, exhaust emissions of vehicles is increasingyear by year, environmental pollution are becoming much severer issues, car emissionsis one of the main causes of smog. How to reduce vehicle exhaust emissions has becomean urgent problem, the SCR system emerges as the times require in this context.Currently, electromagnetic pump which is the main core components in SCR exhausthandling systems are relying heavily on imports. It makes not only the price ofelectromagnetic pump is very expensive, but also the inconvenient to repair. According toresearch for the electromagnetic pump of SCR system is less, as well as various aspectsof the current technology is not very mature, we make a certain amount of analysis aboutthe performance of the required electromagnetic pump, then proposed a new structureof the electromagnetic pump and do some research and study on its key technologies.Based on research achievements of the electromagnetic pump at home and abroad,the paper researchers analyze the working principle and internal structure of theelectromagnetic pump. Then, contained with the technical requirements of theproject, the overall structure of the electromagnetic pump is designed. In the next, themagnetic field and electromagnetic force of the electromagnetic coil are analyzed andcalculated, the electromagnetic pump moving iron core and a one-way valve structure aredesigned, and magnetic properties of materials are studied. At last, we establish thesimulation platform of electromagnetic pump in AMEsim software, the dynamicperformance of the movable iron core is analyzed and the flow characteristic ofelectromagnetic pump is researched by simulation.A series of field experiments are conducted on electromagnetic pump prototype, itcontains the testing on the threshold voltage under different pressure conditions, thetemperature‘s rise when the electromagnetic pump is working normally,the flow characteristics of electromagnetic pump in different conditions. By changingthe frequency of the input voltage verify whether it can change the electromagneticpump flow precisely. Also, we discussed the consistency of flow. At last, the writer introduces the shortcomings of the electromagnetic pump designand the work need to do to improve the design.
