In recent years, with the rapid development of urbanization, increased material and spatial form of urban built-up area become increasingly complex and affect the underlying surface nature of the urban atmosphere, and thus the impact of urban micro-climate is increasingly obvious. Built-up areas’ temperature is significantly higher than the peripheral cities of the country temperatures. This micro-climate phenomenon called Urban Heat Island. It reduces the city’s comfort, increase energy consumption. Nearly a century of research on the urban heat island attempts to propose an effective way to relief. In the urban micro-climate environment, urban form of the important factors of the heat island effect. In recent years, most studies have looked at the relationship between form and heat island effect of urban fabric, and the average sky openness is most relevant to the heat island intensity urban form describes the parameters to prove this point and the measured temperature. We present the urban fabric of the status quo is limited to the result of both economic development and system, the different nature of use of land, textures, patterns vary widely, showing a non-homogeneous state. This paper defines a new texture type-danwei texture, and the following three categories in the main study urban fabric:the average residential texture, danwei texture, commercial class public buildings texture of the sky open distribution.By retrieving the residential texture unit class texture and the texture of the real slice of the public buildings specification Ordinance requirements were established residential texture, the theoretical model of the unit texture, alignment the average sky view factor, to inference residential texture danwei texture, to see its average sky view factor distribution. Then, the calculated twenty residential fabric, danwei texture and the sky open texture of the real slice of public buildings, representing the residential texture of Nanjing, the average sky openness condition of the texture unit class texture and public buildings, generated in the ArcGIS software platform, the sky open map, analysis of the distribution of the average of the three texture sky open space, and to compare with the the Nanjing surface remote sensing temperature map, and support of both relationship and to determine proposed impact on the heat island effect the texture of the larger texture type business, class public buildings, size of the comprehensive analysis of all the texture of the heat island effect, and targeted future study to improve the urban form.
