The Research On Functional Expansion And Design Of City Park For Vulnerable Groups

City Park is the city’s green open space, as the city is an important basic services for urban residents enjoy everyday casual integral part of life. Disadvantaged urban residents with special groups,including senior citizens groups,disability groups and younger age groups. In recent years, the proportion of vulnerable groups, increasing living standards and environmental quality of life of vulnerable groups of society more and more attention. Disadvantaged because of their physical characteristics have special requirements for city parks,city parks currently existing features have been far from satisfying their use,vulnerable groups want the same as able-bodied person has an equal right to use the city park but also eager to have more involved in leisure activities in the city park.How to design and adapt to the needs of vulnerable groups, high-quality urban leisure space environment becomes the new challenges facing the city park designers in the city park.In this paper,using the special needs of vulnerable groups in the outdoor space to proceed, the impact of the use of the material elements of vulnerable groups in-depth analysis of the city park,through a lot of research and analysis,summarizes the characteristics and problems of vulnerable groups in the use of city parks,and summarize the disadvantaged psychological characteristics in the city park,and behavioral characteristics,using the feature.Comprehensive theoretical study and findings,we propose the use of functional expansion disadvantaged general principle,including the principles of safety and comfort,up to general principles,compensation design principles,border optimization principles,fun participation. According to the general principles,the author of the use of function in the elderly population city park,disabled groups and younger age groups to explore expansion strategy. Finally,from the perspective of city park space,this paper proposes the use of design features disadvantaged expansion.Hope to design studies to outdoor activities vulnerable groups play a reference for the research of this article.
