Abstract:According to data released by the Government by the end of2012, China’s railway passenger volume189,336.85million, operating mileage of97,600kilometers, ranking second in the world, which electrified railway operating mileage of35,500km, and high-speed rail operation mileage of9400km, ranking first in the world, Railway is the most important mode of transportation in China so far. In electrified railway, the train access energy by the pantograph from the catenary. And the catenary-pantograph system is one of many constraints that limit the speed of train. Therefore, the research of catenary-pantograph coupling system has important theoretical and practical value. The research Listed below has been done in this paper.(1) According to the finite element method (FEM), a FEM model is established based on Euler-Bernoulli beam. The initial state of the catenary is calculate by this model.(2) In-depth analysis of the process of interaction between pantograph, The interaction of pantograph and catenary is described in collision model by modern contact dynamics. The state equation of the model is derived too. At last,a GUI simulation software is developed in MATLAB.(3) The results of simulation and experimental data were compared and analyzed. The vibration frequency pantograph and contact force distribution are discussed in this paper.
