XDPS-400type control system used in the2×330MW units for the first period of HuadianWeifang Power Company Limited have been put into operation since2001. The networkconfiguration, the card design and the DPU are the Xinhua early products and performance beyondthe arts of the state. The system capacity is not strong. The key member of unit DCS system, such asBC, DPU, DI, DO, AI, AO cards and other equipment aging phenomenon are serious. It has a lot ofdifficulties in the daily operation of the unit and maintenance. The failure rate increased year by year.It is a serious threat to the safe operation of the unit. Therefore, to design an upgrade of DCS controlsystem reform scheme and implementation is of important theoretical significance and applicationvalue.This paper studies the DCS control system of the original XDPS-400system to upgrade the newTISNET-XDC800system. In this paper, on the basis of theory and practice, the design scheme, theinstallation of a new type of control cabinet, DCS controller is replaced, the DCS control logicversion switch and making and the failure investigation and rectification of DCS system are carriedout. The DCS system static and hot commissioning are conducted. The purpose is to improve thecontrol precision and reliability of DCS system by upgrading the control system and application.
