Mongolian Cultural Influence On The Creation Of Urban Characteristics In Inner Mongolia

With the development of globalization and the acceleration of urbanization, as well asthe city itself blind and disorderly construction, resulting in the lacking of urbancharacteristics. With the growth of the deepening problems and urban characteristics can bringeconomic benefits to a city, enhance the cultural level, and deepen the emotion of theresidents, such as the positive impact. The creation of urban characteristics attracts more andmore attention. Urban characteristics are the result of material and spiritual civilization after asettling time of interacting with each other, epitomizes the natural landscape and culturalfeatures of the city. City`s unique regional culture is the soul of the city. Regional culture isthe sum pattern of people behavior pattern and thinking pattern, lived in the same space rangeconstantly adapt to the environment and transform the environment in the process to form. Sothe regional culture is the foundation of the creation of urban characteristics.This paper is divided into two parts. The first part is the connotation of urbancharacteristics and composition of urban characteristics, as well as the theory of regionalculture`s features and concept is introduced. In order to explore the relationship between theregional culture and the urban characteristics. Inner Mongolia, Mongolian culture isrepresentative of the regional culture; Mongolian rich culture connotation had an importantimpact on the context of formation and development of the Mongolian areas city. Through thebasic elements of Mongolian culture, nomadic mode of production, political, economic andcultural systems, national spirit and traditional values, aesthetic characteristics analysissummarized, extracted three factors have an impact on creating the Inner Cities characteristics,That is the objective elements of the city, the behavioral elements of the residents and theawareness elements of the residents.The second part is to select a more representative City in Inner Mongolia for analysis.They are Hohhot represented the “Zhao temple” of Mongolian culture, Hulunbeir is knownfor Mongolian birthplace, and Erdos as Mongolian ritual culture to urban characteristics. Dueto a large geographical span of Inner Mongolia, there are different environmental conditionsin the three cities, coupled with Mongolian history and culture influenced by different stagesof the development process, both urban characteristics in common to form again there aresome differences.
