Thanks to good properties, switched reluctance motor is widely recognized andused. But vibration and noise produced by the radial force and torque pulsation limit theapplication and development of the switched reluctance motor. Radical force and torqueripple are influenced by motor structure, geometry size, rotating speed and controlstrategy, the mechanism is complex. In recent years, in order to reduce the radical forceand torque ripple to suppress the vibration and noise of switched reluctance motor, theresearchers have studied and discussed from different aspects. The existing nonlinearmodel is aimed at the problems such as the saturation of magnetic circuit and rotoreccentricity, not considering solid magnetic parameters of the motor coupling and theimpact of coupling relationship on the electromagnetic force and torque. The papermainly analysis and research magnetic solid coupling modeling.First of all, the paper uses the magnetic circuit method and the exponentialfunction fitting method for the air gap flux density of switched reluctance motors andconsiders the influence of the width of the stator and rotor pole and the radical vibrationdisplacement. The paper combines with the maxwell stress method in accordance withthe choice path of integration to establish the magnetic solid coupling mathematicalmodel of electromagnetic force and radical displacement.Secondly, this paper adopts the indirect and sequential coupled-field method totwo-dimensional finite element analysis on the8/6pole prototype, uses ANSYSsoftware to analyze the electromagnetic field and then regards the results as the load ofstructure field to complete the finite element analysis. Finally, the mathematical model is solved by using Runge-Kutta method ofMATLAB software. MATLAB software can get the curve of radial force and radialdisplacement under different current and rotor position. The paper compares the resultsof magnetism-structure analysis based on ANSYS software with the numerical calculatebased on MATLAB software to prove the accuracy of the model. The verificationresults show that the model meets the actual operation characteristics of switchedreluctance motor and is beneficial to the research of motor vibration and noise and laysthe theoretical basis for optimal design of the motor.
