With the recent application of large span reticulated shell structure is more andmore widely, which is an important public building, once the earthquake damage will becaused huge losses of life and property, so to improve the seismic performance ofstructures and very important to take effective measures for shock absorber. With thediversity, its own form of numerous bars and node, modal dense complex, study onvibration control has just started.Buckling-Restrain Brace (BRB) is a kind of energy dissipation device, in tensionand compression process, the core unit for constrained unit constraints, yield withoutbuckling. BRB can enter energy state in the earthquake in the earthquake, the seismicenergy consumption and the attenuation structure in the input structure, protect the mainstructure and components to avoid damage, can effectively reduce the seismic responseof reticulated shell. The seismic design of new ideas, to avoid some problems intraditional design.Based on the three cylindrical latticed shell of a64m span dry coal shed as theengineering background, is modeled by SAP2000, through modal analysis andmechanical properties analysis, the dynamic characteristics of the static and dynamiccharacteristics of reticulated shell structure. According to the static and dynamiccharacteristics of structure and buckling characteristics of the selected five kinds ofbuckling restrained brace layout, using nonlinear time history analysis method tocalculate the seismic force of the structure, calculation and analysis of structures arerespectively input El Centro wave, Taft wave and Tangshan earthquake in threedirections, the damping effect comparison of several different schemes underearthquake the effects of three kinds of seismic waves, the force of buckling restrainedbrace layout in the earthquake large transverse1/4wave,3/4wave upper chord memberof structure has better shock-absorbing effect. The buckling restrained brace is arrangedin the lateral1/4wave,3/4wave winding bar span were three heart cylindricalreticulated shell of70m and79m were damping performance analysis, results show thatthe damping performance is good, for the future of long-span spatial reticulated shellstructure vibration control research to provide certain reference.
