Reticulated shell is the one of the most important type in spatial structure, it has been the focus of attention that the structural force is changed by the surface formal. It is a need of retaliating large-span. Bucking-restrained brace is a new type of mild steel damper, it has high strength and well hysteretic behavior, since bucking-restrained brace can yield in both tension and compression without bucking. It has been widely applied at home and abroad because it has the advantage of flexible design and easy replacement and it has the more stable energy dissipation capacity. According to research results that has been existed about basic mechanical properties of bucking-restrained brace at home and abroad. It is put forward that bucking-restrained brace is applied to the seismic control of double-layer cylinder lattice shell. By use of the finite element analysis software SAP2000, the damping effect which is double-layer cylinder lattice shell with bucking-restrained brace is analyzed in this paper.In this paper, it is conducted for modal analysis and mechanical property analysis by taking the square pyramid double-layer cylindrical lattice shell with30m span and42m length, the layout schemes of bucking-restrained brace in double-layer cylindrical lattice shell are confirmed according to inner stress distribution of reticulated shell and characteristics of bucking-restrained brace. Reticulated shell structures with bucking-restrained brace which were set in different location and different number were performed for the seismic response analysis under the E1-Centro and Taft wave. Through comparing, it is obtained that the decreasing amplitude ratio of the displacement and the axial force in different scheme and found that it has well damping effect in different location and different number.
