As the global crude oil becomes more expensive and less production, energysaving problem has become the concerns of the shipbuilding industry. Shaftgenerator system is an effective way of energy saving, while it has the disadvantageof limited application and harmful for reliability of main engine, which brings newchallenges for the shipbuilding industry. Taking use of reversible shaft generatorsystem with coordination controller could coordinate comprehensively energy unit ofmarine power system, switch ship sailing conditions automatically according to thedemand of torque and guarantee the stability and effectiveness of marine powersystem. Therefore, the design of this kind of shaft generator and coordinationcontroller is of great importance to solve the above problems.In this thesis, differential equations were used to set up the nonlinearmathematical model which describes characteristics of all parts of marine powersystem, including shaft generator model, dynamic load model, high powerpropulsion load model and diesel generating set model. The simulation models ofeach part based on MATLAB simulation platform were built and their correctnessand rationality have been validated.According to the research of the composition of dynamic coordination controlproblem, combined with dynamic coordination control theory and other researchachievement, the idea of dynamic coordination control was applied in the marinepower system. Considering energy and torque management, we can design dynamiccoordination controller in the marine power system. Considering energy and torquemanagement, dynamic coordination controller possessed energy management andswitch the working mode of power station was designed in the marine power system.Marine power system simulation model was bulit based on MATLABsimulation platform.The simulation of marine power station was researched firstlyon specific condition and the correctness of the result was verified. Then, the marinepower station was investtigated with dynamic coordination controller under differentconditions. The comparision between testing result and marine standard parametersshowed that marine power station with dynamic coordination controller with PTO/PTI function could meet the relative requirements...
