In the increasingly serious energy crisis and environment, energy saving andemission reduction of ship more by governments and the owner’s attention, asan important measure of the energy-saving emission reduction, the shaftgenerator system evaluation and selection of scientific scheme or not,directly related to the ship’s construction cost and performance advantage, research on the selection of the scheme for shaft generator system not onlycan provide effective reference for the shipyard and ship development anddesign staff, but also has strong practical significance.Firstly, based on the references, are introduced and analyzed on the shaftgenerator system, introduced status quo and selection of shaft generatorsystem, points out the existing problems and difficulties to solve theproblems to be faced with.Then according to the system of evaluation index system of shaft difficultyselection, the selected factor analysis method solve the problem ofselecting the evaluation index of theoretical analysis, according to theanalysis of factors influencing the evaluation of VLCC shaft generatorsystem, and then select the technical factors, production factors, marketfactors of the three evaluation indicators to build ship shaft generatorsystem scheme evaluation system; followed by the analytic hierarchy processfor VLCC shaft hair gives the evaluation system of the each index weightnumber, then compare the optimum scheme is selected, the final choice of AFEvariable frequency combined with induction motor as a300000ton oil tanker(VLCC) shaft generator system preferred.
