Study On The Effect Of New Railway To The Development Of Zhenjiang City Spatial Form

In recent years, railway system developed very rapidly in Zhenjiang.Thehuge impetus of large scale infrastructure deeply affected the development ofcity spatial form.Not only the construction of Railway accelerated the exchanges andcontacts between the cities, but also accelerated the hub area of city. That took agreat influence on regional development and city spatial form changed.According to The Twelfth Five Year Plan, Lian-Huai-Yang-Zhen railwaywill be built within five years, that must make Zhenjiang become economyradiation bridgehead to the Northern Jiangsu area. This opportunity will bringprofound implications on the development of Zhenjiang city.The thesis is composed of three parts:The first part for the macroscopic lay, Zhenjiang should accelerate thetransformation of the city to create a service-oriented regional center city.Strengthen the longitudinal lay hub area, strengthen regional contact activelyintegrate into the Yangtze River Delta and the Nanjing metropolitan area;The second part for the mid-scopic lay, the role and position the region ofZhenjiang, and further optimize the city spatial form, to stimulate vitality,avoid the city north-south unstable development;The third part of the microscopic lay, the possible development of Sanshanarea. With the drive of Sanshan hub, the Sanshan area finally forming a newurban center, perfectly combines to the functional city clusters.
