| In the increasingly competitive society, how to develop a new product becomes anew demand. Engine is the core parts of the automobile. Torque converter is a kind ofmechanical device, which is widely applied to the automatic car. It plays two roles: on theone hand, it can transfer torque; on the other hand, it can made the the connectionbetween the engine and the automatic transmission into a non-rigid connection,which canmake the automatic shift easily. Balancing machine must be used when to product torqueconverter. Because of the eccentricity, when it rotates, it produces vibration.Balancing machine is an important equipment, which is used to correct the balance ofrotating parts and rotating machinery. This thesis is about a torque converter balancingmachine, which is introduced from the BTI company, USA.The author designed anddeveloped the man-machine interface based on the LabWindows/CVI system.It is of greatsignificance.These are the main jobs of this article:Based on the entire equipment’s working conditions, the author learned theequipment about the torque converter balancing machine. The author applied the virtualinstrument technology to the balancing machine.The author analyzed the design of thisman-machine interface in detail, the author also designed the software s flow chart.Theauthor also wrote communication program.The author described each modules of theman-machine interface and showed the results. |
