Today,we get into the21stcentury and the hope for good life is higher and higher.This leads to the fast development of modern city but it also brings a problem that the roadbecomes more and more crowd.To relief this problem,we build the urban viaducts.On onehand,it allows the road become not so crowd.On the other hand,it brings the negativespace under the viaducts which will lead to economic and landscape problems.However,byimproving the environment quality under viaducts in proper way,we can turn the negativespace into active space which suits the surrounding environment and become friendly forhuman.The focus of this dissertation is to start at a point of architecture physics,take4viaducts in wuhan for example, collect the thermal data,study the thermal request forhuman thermal comfort and the thermal request for plants’ healthy grown-up, find outthe relationship among these three things and think of the strategy of how to reuse thespace under the viaducts.This dissertation choose4viaducts in Wuhan.They are:Zhuo dao quan viaduct,Guanshan viaduct,the east part of the third loop line and Xiong chu viaduct.We collect thethermal and humidity data at different points under the viaducts in2013January,July andSeptember.Then we compare and analyze the thermal environment under the differentviaducts and use the curve fitting to process the data.Lastly,we find out the changing ruleof the thermal environment under the viaducts.In this dissertation, we study as follows.Firstly,we collect the thermal data and makethe math model to study the relationship between the thermal environment and the5elements of the viaducts including time,season,location,direction and the different sitesunder the viaducts.In this way,we can know about how these5elements affect the thermalenvironment under the viaducts.In this way,we make theory foundation for the buildingprojects.Secondly, we compare the change rule of the thermal environment data with theenvironment data which make human feel comfortable and allow the plant grow uphealthily.In this way, we put forward the space improving strategy.Thirdly,using thisstrategy,we make a architecture and landscape Su model.we will check the data and verifythe climate adaption by using Ecotect.In this way,we can evaluate the strategy. At last,we expect3things in the dissertation:1,To build shops under the viaductswhich locates at the shopping area to attract more people to come.2,To turn the spacesunder suburb viaducts into the urban agriculture places.3,To turn the spaces under suburbviaducts into a park for the citizen to go on the weekends.
