The field of this study is urban gas pipeline safety assessment.In this field,there is notyet formed an integrated assessment system,and the results can not be quantified in manybranches.Thus,urban gas pipeline safety assessment research is very urgent.The analyticalthinking of this paper is,to find out the direct trigger of urban gas pipeline accidents by themeans of the recent statistics of domestic and international urban gas pipeline accidents.Thenusing the model of Pipeline Risk Management Manual to analyze the indirect causes from thefollowing aspects:third-part damage,corrosion,design as well as the misuse.During thefailure modes of urban gas pipeline accidents analysis,using the SCL to analyze the directtrigger,then making use of the FTA to analyze the indirect trigger from third-part damage,corrosion,design and misuse.In the fifth chapter,the first is to fuzzily assess the possibility,and then to assess the sequence severity in order to establish the risk matrix.However,due tothe defect of the risk matrix,the paper introduce the Muhlbauer method to assess the sequenceseverity,and put forward the measures.The paper includes the following content:1.Collect the recent statistics of the domestic and international urban gas pipelineaccidents,analyze the causes and types.2.Analyze the direct and indirect reasons of urban gas pipeline accidents.3.Use SCL and FTA to analyze the failure modes.4.Use fuzzy-poly assessment to evaluate the possibility and severity.5.Use risk matrix and Muhlbauer method to evaluate the risk level.6.Put forward measures.
