With the rapid development of the economy and society, urbanconsumption of water increases sharply. Water supply has become an importantfactor restricting economic development. Currently, water supply project hasentered a new period of potential tapping, planning and reconstruction in China.Because of the computational complexity of the actual water distributionnetwork, it is difficult to achieve economic optimization deciding the pipelinealignments, diameter and other parameters only with experience Facing thegrowing demand for water supply, the problem of water supply project planningand reconstructing water distribution network should be focus on increasinglyand solved.This paper proceed from the actual work of the author, with tremendouschanges in Harbin urban water supply recent years as th e background, throughthe establishment of water distribution network optimization model andapplication, the scientific management of urban water distribution network isachieved.This paper starts with the description of the current situation of watersupply in Harbin, including plant water status and the status quo of waterdistribution network, And from a practical point of view, the author makes adeep analysis on actual problems in urban water supply in Harbin city, Layingthe foundation and setting goals for the optimizing and rebuilding of next step.Commonly used Water Consumption Forecast are classified in the paper.Considering the less of water consumption data in Harbin, water demands in themiddle and long term are forecasted using grey system forecasting model. Theforecasting results offer a higher precision for the planning and re-constructionof water distribution network in Harbin city under the condition of few waterdemands information.Subsequently, through the transformation of water distribution networkoptimization model of process and content of the system introduced, accordingto Harbin city water distribution network features and the actual situation,building a water distribution network optimization model. Then Building multi-objective decision model of water distribution network on the basis of the singleobjective.Finally, take the water supply project in Mopanshan for example and usethe immune algorithm to solve the model and apply. In the context of changing water supply in Harbin, to make analysis and application condition and pipenetwork optimization search solution application, optimize the transformationmodel validation and application of the theory of value.
