Thyristor switched filter has a disadvantage of causing harmonic current amplification.To solve it, a hubrid device based on APF and TSF is put forward. TSF parameteroptimization, TSF controller’s software and the main program of APF module controller havebeen designed in detail.Traditional empirical algorithm can’t get the optimal design parameters. Designobjectives such as the power factor after compensation, the initial cost and filteringperformance are considered synthetically, and the adaptive genetic algorithm is used tocomplete the optimal design. To reduce the difficulty of optimizing, design technique with afixed reactance rate and fixed quality factor is used. To accelerate the searching speed, thetotal harmonic distortion of grid current is selected as the main objective in view of drillingrig’s load characteristic. On the basis of TSF module controller’s hardware designed by others,software system consisting of the main control board’s software and the man-machineinteraction board’s has been designed. Taking Yan-Xv development board basing on DSP28335as the main control board, the main program of APF module controller has beendesigned. It consists of instruction current’s computing program, DC voltage’s closed loopcontrol program and current’s tracking compensation program. Single phase’s softwarephase-locked loop and digital low pass filter are designed in detail, as well as PI parameter’scalculation in DC voltage’s closed loop control.Simulation results show that the proposed optimal design method can save cost, andenhance the filtering performance. Experimental results show that the developed software cancomplete the functions of DC voltage’s stable control and current’s tracking compensation.
