The human eye is the important sensory organ for receiving the information of theexternal light. It can obtain shape, color, light and other information of the object. The lossof visual perception will lead to be greatly restricted inconvenience for the production ofhuman, life and work. With the rapid progress of society and economy, more and morepeople pay attention to visual health, medical cause for visual detection, diagnosis andtreatment technology has also been improved. Due to the lack of relevant measurementstandards and regulations, equipments’ quality good or bad are intermingled, which lead tothe lack of credible and comparable test results. Therefore the in-depth understanding andstudy of the measurement standards and traceability system of visual diagnostic equipmentis the key problem to be solved.On the basis of human eye color difference threshold, tungsten halogen light sourcesimilar to approximate standard. A light source is chosen to produce color andcommissioning of a color difference measurement threshold control device. In the drivecontrol precision stepper motor, the device can produce continuously adjustable over awide color gamut. Through building a mathematical model and a lot of simulation,optimize and design of controlling the test system parameters is completed, which canachieve the control of a plurality of color points. The different responses in color pattern byobserving the target, determine the color threshold of testers.In this paper, software interface is designed and constructed, which establishes acontact among various devices. Combined with the actual test method, the operationinterface has been optimized. According to the test object the user can choose test contentand the results will be retained based on the color difference threshold in differentobservations and personal information.The CIELAB uniform color space is chosen to show colors, and the correspondingformula is adopted to calculate the colors difference ΔE. In this paper, reliabilityverification is carried out respectively from two aspects of the repeatability andreproducibility of the system to produce color and its color difference. And the systemmeets the needs of human eye color difference threshold measurement and diagnosis.
