As so far, there is a fierce debate on campus spatial form and landscape design whichare mentioned in many related papers. However, most of the books and papers oncampus planning are discussing about campus landscape design and contact space in themacroscopic point of view. Although there are some topics of the further discussion oncampus waterscape environment construction, it still has the hysteresis quality of thethorough study on university campus wetland system. The landscape design of campuswaterscape should not be simply regarded as a single unit, but be researched in anintegral space environment. Thus, it is necessary to find the common characteristics ofcampus landscape and manifest its own peculiarity. In the era background with the eco-environmental degradation of current city, thenotion transformation of the higher education, and the environmental change inside andoutside the campus, the eco-environmental construction of university campus draws thepublic attention from different facets. And the stand or fall of the campus directlyinfluences the mental and behavior change of students. As the sub-campuses of manybig universities are built, they put the campus landscape in the important place, whosebenefits directly reflect on increasing university image of the atmosphere, culturalconnotation and so on. Because of the special natural comprehension and humanefeatures, the northwest district makes the campus landscape have its unique strength andspecialty. Proposing this task is to do the research with the example of the wetlandlandscape design project of Xinong artificial lake based on the study of campuswaterscape environment in the northwest district. According to the research approachabove, the paper has sevent sections in total.
