The frame-supported short-leg shear wall is a combination of short leg shear-walland frame-supported shear wall. According to the specialty of short-leg shear wall, theframe-supported short-leg shear wall is quite different to normal frame-supported shearwall in structural forms and load-bearing characteristics. Although it has been usedwidely, the theoretic research of this structure needs to be perfected. Because of settingframe column under transfer storey in the frame-supported short-leg shear wall structure,the lateral stiffness of structure nearby transfer storey is usually changed sharply, whicheasily causes stress concentration and is harmful to seismic performance. In order toimprove the seismic performance of structure, parts of shear wall are usually linkedwith ground. The ground wall is a main lateral resistance member in high-riseframe-supported shear wall structure, and the ground wall stiffness has an importantinfluence on seismic performance of structure. But,the fact that we have little researchin theory to this system. Therefore,this paper from reality do an analysis of differentstructure with different thickness of the force performance.This paper takes a specific engineering example as the background,use finiteelement software ETABS for acceleration response spectrum analysis and time-historyanalysis to frame-supported short-limb shear wall structures,calculates and analysesrespectively the seismic response of dynamic characteristics,displacements, floorshear,the distribution of the column shear, the force of transfer beam, the lateralstiffness of different structure with different thickness or amounts of landing shear walland storey of frame-supported, focuses on the influence of different parameters on shearmutation on distributing between frame-supported wall and ground wall near transfer storey The comparative analysis of calculation results shows that the change of shearwall thickness, quantity of shear wall and the storey under transfer storey have aimportant influence on equivalent lateral stiffness of structure under transfer storey,however shear mutation in a some extent can be abated, only using equivalent lateralstiffness of structure under transfer storey to control the mutation is not enough. Inaddition, setting lateral support in transfer storey has a significant influence on framecolumn.The main points of this paper offers significant references for the future study anddesign of frame-supported short-leg shear wall structure.
