Application of seismic isolation technology for strengthening of existingbuildings, not only can improve the seismic capacity of it, and can protect itsarchitectural style. This article studied and analyzed the existing buildings aseismicstrengthening methods, comparative analysis the difference between of the existingbuildings of traditional seismic strengthening method and the isolation reinforcementmethod and the advantages of the latter, from the reinforcement principle,construction method, construction economy aspects. In view of the existing buildingsaseismic reinforcement engineering characteristics, analyzes the dry friction plate-the reset spring vibration isolation system and the characteristics of the compositeisolation system, and put forward the two kinds of improved new isolation bearing.For both the masonry structure building isolation reinforcement and applicationresearch, through the modeling analysis of the vibration isolation shock effect of therevamp, the isolation of masonry structure building are proposed strengtheningconstruction technology and requirements. Research shows that: the reformation ofexisting buildings aseismic reinforcement compared with the traditional seismicstrengthening technology, has the advantage of the less transformation with the upperstructure reinforcement construction transformation of existing buildings, notaffection of the use of existing buildings, lower engineering cost of strengthening.Friction plate-reset spring vibration isolation system and the parallel compositeisolation technology, compared with common isolation theory, had the obvioustechnology advantage. Put forward the double beam underpinning of masonrystructure and layout isolation bearing technology.
