With the vigorous development of China’s automobile industry, the automobileindustry has become an important pillar industry of the country.In recent years with the frequent occurrence of domestic campus car accident,people’s concern about the safety of the campus car growing wider, campus securityincidents not only caused serious casualties phenomenon of society, the familybrought a serious injury.This is mainly due to the safety of the car body structurecampus insufficient, leading to deformation of the body structure of serious rollovercollision occurs, so that the occupant by extrusion, impact and occupant life wascompromised.Therefore, based on the finite element theory, researching bus bodystructure rollover collision by the advanced finite element method and according toECE R66regulations on passive safety body structure evaluation and analysis.Schoolbus is converted by the passenger car. In the development of passenger car, theprocess proposed bus rollover meeting their security requirements is raised by ourcountry and abroad.This paper researched the structure of Semi-integral Bus body, researched andexplored its structure of rollover crash safety. The main work of this paper are:(1)Since the structure of bus body is a complex system.the direct use of finiteelement software to model the body of the car is very difficult, so this paper uses themethod of directly into the three-dimensional model. On the basis of thetwo-dimensional drawings provided by the manufacturer on the use of CATIAsoftware to establish the geometric model of bus body skeleton structure, and thenusing the finite element software Hyper Mesh finite element model. By modalanalysis, to verify the reliability of the evaluation model and the evaluation of thedynamic effects of the body structure.(2)According to ECE R66regulations of the bus body structure rollover crashsimulation and occupant survival space and build the bus body structure simulationplatform roll under the regulations. The results were analyzed by calculating andfound a large rollover occurs when the vehicle body structure deformation andintrusion into collision occupant survival space, endangering the lives of the crew.(3)According to optimize the design of the weak parts of the body structure rollover crash test analysis found that the proposed scheme improved and validated.Validated and found the car body structure after optimization improvements, safetybody structure has been greatly improved, the occupant survival space was notinvaded basically meet the ECE R66regulations. Ultimately, for the smoothproduction car on campus subsection provides a good practical value.
