Construction Quality Inspection Technology Analysis Of Slay Embankment Based On Falling Sphere Test

With the improvement of Chinese highway network, slags from the excavation of cuttingand tunneling are widely used in road constructions in mountainous areas. Especially inexpressway embankment construction, filling material is from the tunneling slag and massivestone cutting. However, studies in this province are still immature. In this thesis, thecompaction and mechanical characteristics of slag and its filling inspection technology arestudied.Firstly, understand the classification and main testing index of slag through investigationand basing on the principle of falling sphere study the influence factor and the error source ofslag’s mechanical property and then give its error control method.Secondly, check the reliability of the compaction and mechanical characteristics of slagbasing on falling sphere test. Also check the correctness of the results with numerical andmodel test. By comparing with relative standard devices and the Beckman Beam, check thefeasibility and reliability of this method and conclude the application area of this test methodincluding soil and slope condition and testing depth.Lastly, apply this testing method into the assessment of embankment construction.Establish a set of embankment quality control system of slag material based on resilientmodulus by using two indexes, no uniformity of embankment stiffness and its magnitude.In brief, the construction quality inspection technology study of slag filled embankment isgood to form a standard construction method and an effective quality control method toguarantee the slag filled embankment quality and further more to improve the constructionsupervision and quality control and assessment technology of slag filled embankment inZhejiang Province.
